High Holidays 2020

As we approach the start of the Jewish New Year, we have come to realize that as optimistic as we may wish to be, adjustments to our programs and services need to be made due to the continued threat of the Corona Virus.

Below please find a summary of what High Holidays will look like as we welcome in the New Year of 5781.

- In person Services  

There will be limited, socially-distanced seats available, and no walk-ins will be allowed. Adults (Over Bar/Bat Mitzvah) only. You must reserve a seat for each Service you plan to attend in person. Masks will be required. 

All Services will be held at Chabad of East Delray

10 SE 1st Ave,(Ground Floor) Delray Beach FL, 33444.

Between services, the Shul will be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly.

Please note, there will be no Shofar blowing on the first day of Rosh Hashanah because it is Shabbat.

- Outdoor Shofar Blowing

On the second day of Rosh Hashanah, September 20th, we will be hosting an outdoor Shofar blowing at 5 pm.

Location upon RSVP.

If you feel most comfortable staying at home this year, we will have "at home kits" available which will include a selection of the key prayers and insights, apple & honey, challah and candles. These kits will be available for pick up on Friday, September 18th. To reserve one, please email Rabbi@jewisheastdelray.com.

No membership or fee required to attend.
